Aluminum Die Casting

Process Characteristics

1650T aluminum die casting machine; ADC12 material

  • a. Material handle: 20±2mm, furnace temperature: 640°±20°;
  • b. The use of secondary items is not allowed;
  • c. Verify through testing that the material composition is suitable and can be manufactured;
  • d. After die casting, first piece confirmation is required.
Note
  • a. Verify the filling quality of the surface. It’s not the bulge, it’s not the cold insulation, it’s not the lack of material in the pillars.
  • b. Pay attention to the surface to prevent poor ejector pin crown, mold pulling or mold sticking.
  • c. For non-machined surfaces and machined surfaces, the ejector pins are concave by 0-0.2 mm. The ejector pin must have a convex shape of 0-0.2 mm.

Frequently Asked Questions

What raw material and equipment are used for the die casting process?

We use high-quality ADC12 material processed via a 1650T aluminum die casting machine. The process maintains a strict furnace temperature of 640°±20° and a material handle size of 20±2mm to ensure optimal structural integrity.

How is the quality of the buried copper heat pipes verified?

Burying heat pipes requires a specialized pressure heat pipe fixture. Our IPQC inspection ensures the copper tubes do not warp, deform, or rupture, the filler is full and completely free of air bubbles, and the placement matches the drawings precisely.

What are the tolerance and finish standards for CNC machined parts?

During the CNC machining phase, we ensure the processed surface finish achieves an Ra1.6 standard. Dimensions and shape tolerances are strictly controlled according to the technical drawings to prevent over-cutting or surface scratches.

What inspections are performed during the powder spraying and coating phase?

We perform chemical conversion membrane treatment, drying, and powder spraying. IPQC verifies that the powder thickness is uniform, color matches the approved sample, and the surface is free of accumulation, exposed bottom, or scratches.

How are the final products packaged to prevent shipping damage?

Products undergo a full visual check. Approved units are placed securely into custom knife cards, covered with a flat cardboard protection layer, and packaged inside bubble bags and heavy-duty cartons to avoid any transit dents or scratches.

How are measuring instruments calibrated for quality control?

All testing tools, including calipers, projectors, needle gauges, and tooth gauges used in FQC and OQC stages, are verified before inspection to ensure they are within their active calibration periods and comply with customer and SIP specifications.
