- Material: ADC12
Process characteristics
- a. Furnace temperature: 640°±20°, Material handle: 20±2MM;
- b. Secondary materials cannot be used;
- c. Test the material composition to confirm that it is OK and can be produced;
- d. First piece confirmation is required after die-casting.
Precautions
- a. The filling quality of the surface needs to be confirmed. No cold insulation, no bulging, or lack of material for the pillars.
- b. Pay attention to the surface to avoid sticking molds, drawing molds, or poor ejector pin convexity.
- c. The ejector pins are concave by 0-0.2mm for non-machine-added surfaces and 0-0.2mm for machine-added surfaces. The thimble needs to be convex 0-0.2mm.

Frequently Asked Questions
What raw materials and machinery parameters are used in the initial die casting process?
The process utilizes ADC12 material and a 400T aluminum die casting machine. Key parameters include maintaining a furnace temperature of 640°±20° and a material handle size of 20±2MM. Additionally, secondary materials cannot be used.
What quality checks are performed during the CNC machining stage?
During CNC machining, precautions are taken to avoid over-cutting or missing processing, prevent surface scratches or burrs, and ensure the finished surface roughness meets Ra1.6 along with the required size and shape tolerances.
What are the requirements for the chemical conversion and powder spraying process?
Key precautions include ensuring no color variations, dirt, or surface scratches. The color must be uniform and consistent with the approved sample, and the powder thickness must be uniform with no accumulation of tumors or exposed bottom.
How are final dimensions and thread patterns verified before packaging?
Holes are randomly inspected with needle gauges, and tooth patterns are verified using go-no go fixed gauge inspections to ensure they strictly meet customer requirements before placing products into protective knife cards and cartons.
What is the difference between FQC and OQC shipping inspections?
FQC inspection focuses on checking dimensions, appearance, and packaging details with calibrated tools. OQC shipping inspection acts as the final gatekeeper, verifying that all measuring tools remain in calibration and that the shipment is completely consistent with SIP and customer requirements.
