Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What materials and machine parameters are used in your zinc die casting process?
We use a 138T zinc die casting machine and ZA 3# material. The furnace temperature is strictly maintained at 420°±20°, and the material handle is kept at 14±1 mm. Testing the material composition is mandatory before production to ensure suitability, and secondary materials are strictly prohibited.
How do you prevent defects during the deburring and grinding stages?
During deburring and grinding, operators use files, wind grinders, and 120# sandpaper. We enforce strict precautions: there must be no residual segment differences, over-cutting is forbidden, and R-angles must connect smoothly. Products are handled lightly to avoid pressure injuries and deformation.
What are the tolerances and requirements for CNC machining?
Our CNC process includes drilling a 1x ϕ2.0 through hole (through 2 sides) and a 3x ϕ3.0 through hole on the side. The tolerance for the through-hole must be within +/-0.1mm. Operators must ensure there is no over-cutting, no missed processing, and no scratches or burrs on the surface.
What standards apply to the oil-spraying process?
We use Sherwin-Williams paint for oil-spraying. The surface must be smooth without paint stripping, scratches, orange peel, particles, or inconsistent coloration. Color matching is strictly verified against the standard sample to ensure uniformity.
How is quality verified during IPQC, FQC, and OQC stages?
We utilize various testing instruments including CMMs, projectors, calipers, pin gauges, tooth gauges, and shaping fixtures. These tools are regularly verified to ensure they are within their calibration window. Inspections follow SIP, SOP, and customer requirements to confirm dimensional tolerances, hole parameters, and surface appearance.
What are your packaging and transportation protocols?
Each product is individually packed in a bubble bag and placed into a carton with dividers (knife cards/clapboards) to prevent surface scratches. During transportation, we confirm that the quantity matches the order, label and stamp the outer box, and send shipment reports to the client.
