Aluminum die casting
Equipment & Material
Equipment: 300T aluminum die casting machine, Material: ADC12
Process characteristics
- a. Furnace temperature: 640°±20°, Material handle: 20±2MM;
- b. Secondary materials cannot be used;
- c. Test the material composition to confirm that it is OK and can be produced;
- d. First piece confirmation is required after die-casting.
Precautions
- a. The filling quality of the surface needs to be confirmed. No cold insulation, no bulging, or lack of material for the pillars.
- b. Pay attention to the surface to avoid sticking molds, drawing molds, or poor ejector pin convexity.
- c. The ejector pins are concave by 0-0.2mm for non-machine-added surfaces and 0-0.2mm for machine-added surfaces. The thimble needs to be convex 0-0.2mm.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q1: What materials and machinery are utilized in your aluminum die casting process?
A1: We utilize ADC12 aluminum material and a 300T aluminum die casting machine. The furnace temperature is strictly maintained at 640°±20° with a material handle of 20±2mm to ensure maximum component structural integrity.
Q2: How do you prevent surface and dimensional defects during CNC machining?
A2: We implement strict precautions including avoiding over-cutting or missing processes, keeping the surface free of scratches or burrs, and ensuring a surface finish of Ra1.6. Size and shape tolerances are verified continuously.
Q3: What methods are used for quality inspection throughout the process?
A3: We apply a multi-tier quality control flow including IPQC (In-Process Quality Control), 100% material inspection, FQC (Final Quality Control), and OQC (Outgoing Quality Control). We utilize precision instruments such as calipers, projection systems, three-dimensional measurement systems, needle gauges, and go/no-go fixed thread gauges.
Q4: What surface treatments do the die-cast parts undergo?
A4: The components undergo cleaning, chemical conversion membrane application, and powder spraying. We inspect to ensure no color variations, dirt, or scratches exist, and that the powder thickness is uniform with no exposed bottom.
Q5: How are the products protected during packaging and shipping?
A5: Products are packed using custom cartons, knife cards, clapboards, and bubble bags to prevent metal-on-metal scratching and deformation. Prior to shipping, we perform OQC inspections to verify quantities and provide a detailed shipping report.
