Process

1, Aluminum die casting:

Material: AlSi10MnMg/DX17; Equipment: 800T aluminum die-casting machine.


Process characteristics

a. Material handle: 20±2mm, furnace temperature: 670°±20°;
b. The use of secondary items is not allowed;
c. Verify through testing that the material composition is suitable and can be manufactured;
d. After die casting, first piece confirmation is required.

Preventive measures include:

a.Verify the filling quality of the surface. It’s not the bulge, it’s not the cold insulation, it’s not the lack of material in the pillars.
b. Pay attention to the surface to prevent poor ejector pin crown, mold pulling or mold sticking.
c. For non-machined surfaces and machined surfaces, the ejector pins are concave by 0-0.2 mm. The ejector pin must have a 0-0.2 mm convex shape.

2, Take out the nozzle (saw nozzle) and close the slag bag

Equipment : Wooden Stick/sawing machine/plastic cardboard/laminates/ gloves

Note:

a. Pay attention to the surface and don't damage it or lack of material.
b. Manage size and appearance

3, Deburring

Removal of the fringe at the peripheral mold line and the inserts on the heat sink teeth. Remove the residue of side gates and slag ports, and remove the fringe at the ejector pin position.

Equipment : wind grinder, 120# sandpaper

Note:

a. The product shall not be non-sanded areas and fonts missing, playing collapsed edges, poking.
b. The product shall not have residual phi, shall not miss the phi, particles.
c. If bad or other emergencies occur in a timely manner, isolate and immediately report to the superior to deal with.
d. Pay attention to the transportation and processing process, hold and put the product lightly, do not bump the lack of, hit the deformation.
e. Hang the hangtag and product identification on the top of the cardboard, QC signature OK before transferring to the next process.

4, IPQC inspection 

Testing instruments: calipers, projection, three-dimensional modeling, visual appearance inspection

Precautions:

Use measuring tools correctly and check dimensions according to drawings.

5, Product back shaping

Equipmen : Cutting edge ruler, shaping tooling, hydraulic presses

Caution:

Within 0.3 mm from the front of the product

6, IPQC inspection

Visual inspection of appearance

7, CNC

Machining of internal cavity end faces,Backside holes,Side of one end,Hole through-hole

Equipment: CNC machine, flat-bottomed gong tool,Drill Bit, Tap machining jig.

Precautions:

a. Do not overcut, missed processing;                                   
b. Surface attention must not be bruised, burrs; and                                   
c. Ensure that the surface finish Ra1.6 size, shape and location tolerances

8, Air tightness testing

Test pressure value in 20kpa ~ 30kpa, stabilized pressure 10 seconds, test time 10 seconds, leakage control within 0.3kpa

Equipment: Airtight Tooling, Airtightness Test Equipment

Precautions:

a. Do a good job on the product appearance surface protection, sealing groove parts without implementation of touch scratch;
b. Discover the phenomenon of air leakage in time to pick out the marking.    

9, 100% material inspection

Visual inspection of appearance

Precautions:

a. The surface of the product should not be overcut, sand holes, lack of material. Burrs, and other undesirable phenomena
b. go-no go fixed gauges inspection
c. Test the flatness of the product according to the drawing.
d. Hold the product lightly to prevent deformation.


10,Grinding

Chamfering R-angle, deburring, thimble shaving on non-machined surfaces, polishing and smoothing the shape.

Equipment: Air grinder, 120# sandpaper

Note:

Do not miss the processing, no sharp corners, burrs removed cleanly, connected to the R angle of the smooth.

11, IPQC inspection

Visual inspection of appearance


12,Cleanning + Chemical conversion membrane + power spraying

Note:

a. No different colors, dirty, not touching and scratching;
b. Color according to the sample, uniform and consistent;
c. Powder thickness is uniform, no accumulation of tumors, no exposed bottom.


13, IPQC inspection + Special Characteristics Inspection
Visual inspection of appearance
Note:
a. Surface quality confirmation after chemical conversion membrane/power spraying;
b. Hole need to needle gauge sampling, go -no go fixed gauges inspection
14, Riveting and pressing D4.7 dowels

Equipment: Pressure riveting jig, hydraulic press

Precautions:

a. Check that the pins are loaded without deviation or falling off, and that there is no bulge or pressure injury on the surface of the product;
b. Check the height dimension after pressure riveting;
c, glue glue the right amount to ensure that no spillage after loading to the pin hole.

15, Full inspection + packaging

Thoroughly inspect the goods and packaging
Consumables: dividers, containers, bubble wrap and desiccant

Precautions:
a,The appearance shall be inspected according to the sample. The surface shall be free of dirt, scratches, dents and defects, and the glue dispensing shall be even and without defects!
b,The tooth pattern must comply with the go – no go fixed gauge inspection;
c, The product is placed in the knife card, and then packaged.
16, FQC exam
Testing instruments include calipers, projectors, pin gauges, tooth gauges, outer packaging inspection, etc.
NOTE: Verify that the measurement device is still within its calibration window.
17, Transportation

Note:

a. Confirm that the quantity matches the order.
b. Label and stamp the outer box.
c. Send reports on shipments.

18, OQC shipment inspection

Inspection instruments: calipers, projectors, tooth gauges, needle gauges, appearance, outer packaging inspection
Prepare for a rainy day:
If the measuring device is still within its calibration window. Whether it meets both customer and SIP requirements.
